Baking For Profit: Graphic Design Corporate Campaign Quickly Approaching
Baked goods and homemade arts and crafts will be sold by the graduating Graphic Design students to raise money for the Graphic Design Corporate Campaign held in June.
The Graphic Design Corporate Campaign Thesis Presentations are approaching on June 7 th. Graduating students are currently divided into teams to compete for G. Meyer Construction to purchase their design and win $100 each. The event will be held in room 201 of the main campus from 5:30-7:00 pm.
During the Corporate Campaign Thesis Presentations, the students will pitch their idea to the client to see if they will purchase the designs. It is up to G. Meyer Construction to decide which team to choose. G. Meyer Construction will then purchase a CD of the student’s designs and present $100 to each winning student.
Students are preparing for the Corporate Campaign through holding a Bake Sale to help collect funds for supplies. The Bake Sale will be held in the 3 rd floor break room at Antonelli College’s main campus May 16 th. The Graphic Design Bake Sale is going to be ‘more than the ordinary bake sale’ because students will also be selling arts and crafts.
Theresa Meyer, Graphic Design Chair, believes that the preparation and participation in this event will be, “A teambuilding activity that will be an awesome learning experience so they are more prepared for their jobs when they leave.”
