ANNOUNCEMENT
Runners: Antonelli College To Massage The Flying Pig
Antonelli College Medical Massage students to massage marathon finishers at the Flying Pig Marathon 2007 on May 6.
This will be Antonelli College’s second time providing massages to tired legs and feet at Cincinnati’s annual Flying Pig Marathon. This event is now an annual one for Antonelli College, with a group of Medical Massage students taking the role of relief for runners after the marathon is over. They will be setting up a station at 7am past the finish line to provide a free massage at the runner’s request.
Rob Dorsey, Medical Massage Instructor, feels, “As a volunteer, it’s always a win-win-win situation. Many people in the marathon are running in support of charity. And we are offering our time to support them…and therefore the charities. Runners give great feedback and it’s a confidence builder for the students to see what they are capable of in that time span.”
