Graduates Receive National Certification

Cassandra Jackson of Hattiesburg, a graduate of the Antonelli College Massage Therapy program, recently passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. 

Antonelli College’s Massage Therapy program is accredited through the MS State Board of Massage Therapy. After applying for a provisional license with the MS State Board a graduate must sit for the national certification exam given by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. The NCBTMB is a nationally accredited credentialing body that sets the standard for those who practice massage therapy.

The exam is comprehensive and includes topics such as human anatomy, massage theory, medical issues, and massage law. Receiving this certification allows graduates to work as professionals within the Massage Therapy field.
