ANNOUNCEMENT

ANTONELLI COLLEGE TO BE REPRESENTED AT SPE-MIDWEST CONFERENCE

Cincinnati, OH – August 13, 2007 –The Fall SPE (Society for Photographic Education)-Midwest Conference located in Flint, Michigan on November 8-11, 2007 will be highlighting Antonelli College this year. The conference will be titled, “A River Runs Through Us: Engaged Documentary Practice”. This is the first year that Antonelli College is being represented.

Shanon Rice, Antonelli College Photography Instructor, was invited to speak about her own documentaries of Eastern Coal Mining Companies. Rice comments that, “By supporting the power of documenting through photography, we motivate society to make positive change in hopes to raise interest and appreciation of these cultures in future generations.”
