August 19, 2007, Reginald Taylor, Director of Student Resources at Antonelli College, earned Certified Student Leader credentials during the Conference for Student Leaders in Chicago, Illinois. Taylor was one of 51 who attended the conference to earn this award by scoring high on an examination of leadership skills. The exam tests candidates on the skills necessary for effective leadership of student organizations, including running effective meetings, resolving conflicts, creating an inclusive and diverse environment, and launching successful publicity and promotional campaigns.
Taylor has been with Antonelli College for three years and currently serves as the Director of Student Resources overseeing the student work-study program, the Student Advisory Board and assisting students with overcoming personal barriers that might inhibit college completion.
“The Conference was refreshing, enlightening, and a great tool for college students and administrators,” stated Mr. Reginald Taylor.
Taylor also thanked the Student Advisory Board at Antonelli College Hattiesburg campus for its assistance in raising $850 to aid in sending him to the Conference for Student Leaders. |
