If you have a very hectic schedule, Cincinnati night classes are quite convenient and beneficial. Here are some of the top reasons why you should consider taking our night classes.

Flexibility in scheduling

However, with our Cincinnati night classes you get extra flexibility in your learning schedule that allows you to continue working while attending school. In addition, if you need take more lessons to meet your graduation requirements, then you can also take advantage of night classes.

More diversity

Cincinnati night classes create a good opportunity for a broader range of students to enroll in college. People with family obligations and those who have full-time jobs may not be able to attend a day class. Therefore, night classes are much more diverse as all these students who could not get an opportunity to study during the day can easily sign up for night sessions. You get to interact with people who have varied life experiences, which allow you to learn more from your peers.

Smaller classes

Generally, Cincinnati night classes are smaller in terms of the number of students. This is likely because most students usually take day classes. However, the fact that there are fewer students in the class means significantly better student outcomes as it increases chances for more one-on-one attention with the instructor. This allows students to develop better learning relationships with both their fellow classmates and professors to enhance the learning experience.

Student satisfaction

When you have a more diverse class and more flexibility in your class scheduling with Cincinnati night classes, you will definitely have a better college experience. This increases student satisfaction and as a result, you can absorb learning material better in this kind of environment.

What You Can Do with A Sales Management Degree?

online sales management degreeIf you are interested in furthering your education, you may be wondering what career path you should take. One-degree field that is often overlooked because of the lack of knowledge on the career is that of a sales manager. A sales management degree is required to follow this career path, but what can you really do with one?

What is Sales Management?

When you think about businesses, they all have one thing in common, they sell stuff. Whether it’s products or services, there are things being sold. The position of a sales manager is one that works to oversee the operations of the sales team. They are responsible for creating and designing campaigns. An additional responsibility of a sales manager is to ensure crucial tasks in the business are completed, especially those that help to produce profits.

Sales Management Degree

Now that you understand what the position entails, it’s time to take a look at the degree for this field. A business management or online sales management degree is given to students that have completed a sales management and business program. There are three more common types of these degrees available, they include:

Associates

An associate’s degree in sales management combines the work in sales and business with that of marketing, which allows students to become knowledgeable in both areas. Typical degrees in the associate form take about two years to full complete.

Bachelors

A bachelor’s degree is similar to that of the associates but more time and emphasis is placed on sales management with additional training to earn this four-year degree.

How to Use Your Degree in Sales Management

The majority of students who get an online business management degree in sales management move on in the field of a sales manager. These positions can be in a variety of types of jobs and industries. The field of sales management is a highly competitive one. Many students have stiff competition when applying for a job and after being hired. Sales managers are expected to have high performing numbers in their departments. Because of this, the field of a sales manager can be a largely stressful one on the employee and manager.

Conclusion

If you are thinking about a field in sales, getting a sales management or online business management degree may be your best option to getting hired. When you are highly qualified and experienced, potential employers are more eager to get to know you more through the interview process. Remember there is some big competition out there, so it’s important to make sure your resume and work experience stands out above the rest.

New Photography Diploma Program Offered

Cincinnati Photography DiplomaAntonelli College Cincinnati campus now offers a shorter term Photography diploma program, which will provide students with the technical instruction required to enter a professional photography career.

Antonelli College is now offering a Diploma option to their Photography program at their downtown Cincinnati campus, located at 124 East 7th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. They are now accepting applications for the Photography diploma program.  “We are now enrolling students for the diploma track which begins on January 5, 2015,” said Edward Rito, Campus President for Cincinnati Ohio campus of Antonelli College.

Antonelli College's Photography program currently offers an Associates Degree in Applied Business, which is designed to be completed within 19-24 months. The shorter-term diploma program will allow students to complete their photography courses in as little as 10 months. The main difference between the degree and diploma curriculum is that students enrolled in the diploma program will take minimal general education courses with a strong emphasis placed on the core photography courses.

The Photography diploma program prepares students for entry-level careers in commercial advertising photography, corporate photography, portrait and wedding photography, and as digital photography technicians. This program is a foundation of the Photography A.A.B. degree program. Students completing the diploma program will be able to apply all of the diploma program’s courses towards the degree program. The program also incorporates a capstone requirement of a Portfolio Presentation course, which will provide students with an opportunity to compile a comprehensive portfolio of their work, which demonstrates student proficiency in photography to future employers.

Photography Department Chair of Antonelli College, Andrea Millette professes, "It is an exciting new option at the Cincinnati campus of Antonelli College to be able to offer the Photography diploma program. As the Department Chair, I feel the Diploma program offers a very close technical second to the Associates Degree curriculum, allowing anyone who may already hold a degree from another institution to complete the technical and creative coursework and be prepared to work as a professional photographer. The diploma offering also offers the already established photographer a set of coursework to improve upon their existing skills without the need for general education courses slowing their progress. If an individual feels they are more concerned about time, they can complete the Diploma, and choose to continue on to complete the full degree after, as all classes are 100% transferrable to the Associates degree curriculum."

Those interested in applying to Antonelli College’s Photography program should contact the College at the Cincinnati Main Campus at 513.241.4338 or request information on the website.

Antonelli was invited to create a “Memory Wall” to be set up at the main entrance of the walk to encourage those participating to leave messages, memories, drawings, paintings, or photographs to commemorate loved ones currently struggling with the disease as well as those who have passed. Antonelli College Hattiesburg campus received approval by the state of Mississippi to offer a Practical Nursing program

As the need for licensed practical nurses continues to grow, Antonelli College is one step closer to supplying the increasing demand in the Hattiesburg area. In June, Antonelli College received preliminary approval from the Mississippi Community College Board to offer a new Practical Nursing program at the Hattiesburg campus, which allows the college to begin enrolling students in the new program and to teach the program. The new program received preliminary approval based on the recommendation of a peer review team of Mississippi practical nursing educators, and will undergo an additional visit in the first year of operations in the process of seeking full accreditation.

Pending approval from its institutional accrediting agency, Antonelli College—Hattiesburg expects to open its doors to the first class of 20 practical nursing students this September. The new program will enroll up to a total of 55 practical nursing students annually with three class starts per year and occupy a dedicated space that includes a new nursing lab that is equipped with the latest nursing lab instructional equipment. Students who complete Antonelli College's 12-month program will receive a Diploma in Practical Nursing.

Antonelli College has hired Ms. Linda Shows, MS, BSN, RN, a seasoned practical nursing educator who has educated hundreds of Mississippi practical nurses, as a founding chair for the new program. “We are really proud of the work that Ms. Shows did in setting up the program, finding and hiring talented faculty, and putting together a great program advisory committee. Additionally, she has excelled at working with her colleagues from other practical nursing programs in the process of peer review of the program to implement their suggestions for making our nursing program even stronger,” said Judy Edwards, Dean of Academic Affairs of Antonelli College—Hattiesburg. Ms. Edwards further noted the program’s success in establishing clinical education agreements.

“With nurses in high demand, we are proud to be one of the schools in our area that will provide a quality education for nursing students,” says Steve Bryant, Campus President. “We look forward to a long tradition of providing our local healthcare community with the quality practical nurses needed to serve the people of South Mississippi.”

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of licensed practical and licensed vocational nurses is projected to grow 25 percent for 2012 to 2022, which is significantly faster than the average for all occupations. As the baby-boom population ages, the overall need for healthcare services is expected to increase, making way for more LPN job opportunities in hospitals, physicians' offices, residential assisting-living facilities, and other healthcare settings. Additionally, there's a large anticipated number of currently employed LPNs who are facing retirement, which will create yet another area of employment opportunity in the upcoming decade. The job outlook for licensed and experienced LPNs, according to the BLS, is projected to be quite strong.
