Admissions
General Requirements
The basic requirement for admission is to
be a high school graduate or to hold a G.E.D. Equivalency Certificate.
Applicants for the Graphic Design Program are required to submit
a portfolio and pass a review prior to being accepted to the school.
Antonelli College, in accordance with federal
and state regulations and the dictates of its administrators' consciences,
admits students of any race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin,
and extends all the rights, privileges, and prerogatives generally
accorded to students.
How to Apply
Prospective students are invited to write
or phone the Admissions Office for an interview appointment, an
application, or additional specific information.
Students seeking admission to the Graphic
Design program must submit a portfolio consisting of at least four
(4) pieces of original work. It is not necessary for all work to
be matted or framed and students are encouraged to submit sketchbooks
and work done outside of formal classes. All artwork will be returned.
The Director will review all applications
and send a letter of acceptance or rejection. Qualified students
are accepted at any time prior to the first day of class; however,
due to limited class size, early applications are highly advised.
Prior Credit
Applicants may benefit from Antonelli College's
advanced standing policy. Credits earned at other recognized colleges
may be granted at the discretion of the Director for academic classes
and the department chair for technical classes. No credit will be
transferred unless an official transcript is received by the end
of the first quarter.
Students applying for the transfer of credits
are responsible for providing a completed official transcript request
form and a copy of the school catalog listing the course description(s).
This request form is available from the Student Services Office.
Students must also schedule a personal interview with the Director
of Student Services. Graphic Design students must submit to the
Graphic Design department chairperson a portfolio of work samples
from the course(s) involved. All artwork will be returned.
