Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is a professional certification program awarded by Microsoft. Certification is awarded when you pass one or more of the exams. The Microsoft Certified Professional program is specifically designed for IT professionals and developers. Within this program you can work on more targeted and specialized certifications.

Microsoft Certification Courses (MSCE and MCP)

The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certification can show that you can effectively support end users and troubleshoot desktop environments using a Microsoft Windows operating system.

Technology Specialist Series (MCTS) Upgrades

Five upgrade paths can lead to MCTS certification. All previous certification paths lead to either an MCPD or MCITP certification, which can indirectly confer the appropriate prerequisite MCTS certification.
