A comprehensive Medical Assistant degree program

Our Associate of Applied Business degree in Medical Assisting is designed to provide you with skills necessary to work side-by-side with physicians as a medical assistant. Hands-on clinical training in vital signs, physical exams, EKG lead placement, venipuncture, urinalysis and medication administration will prepare you to assist physicians and other members of healthcare teams.

Our courses also train you to perform both administrative and clinical duties, such as scheduling appointments, updating patient files, administering medications and performing basic laboratory tests. Our program includes administrative training in word processing, medical office procedures and advanced computer classes, along with pharmacology and public speaking. Classes are offered during the daytime, as well as the evening, for students who want to receive their degree at a time that can work with their schedule.
